ARC-TIC MON-KEYS!! clap-clap, clap-clap-clap…
Yeah, I went to an Arctic Monkeys concert in Columbus Monday night, and an Ohio State football game broke out.
And boy did those fans at the Newport Music Hall want an encore. Or maybe they wanted the Buckeyes to go for it on fourth down. I [...]

Melodically, “The Book of Love” should be the kind of song you play at your wedding—sweet and soft with a chorus that swells in all the right places. But it’s not a cheesetastic love song. It’s a tongue-in-cheek look at all the fripperies that compose our ideas of love—swelling musical refrains, dancing under moonlight, goosebumps, [...]

Jay Reatard. Could a name get any more stupid? I’m going to venture a guess. And that guess is no.

Jay-Z returned last week with the third installment in his Blueprint series, aptly named The Blueprint 3.
And it’s only the most anticipated hip hop album of the year. So we thought we’d review it, not once, but four times. Four different writers, four different perspectives.
We’ve got myself (natch), Rob Dowdy, Hilly Kenkel and Chris Collins. [...]
